The following people have access to all personal information that our organization collects : Carole Fauteux, Marie-Josée Gervais and Mathieu Fauteux.

The following people have access to the personal information required to carry out their duties : Carole Fauteux, Marie-Josée Gervais and Mathieu Fauteux, the Bill 25
Committee and certain teachers.

The person responsible for processing personal data will keep all personal information for seven years of inactivity on the site’s information systems, in boxes (paper versions) and under appropriate security conditions.

We store our personal information in:

  • Excel, email, Xaequo, Word and in boxes (paper versions) for registration forms, membership forms, contact lists, and attendance lists.
  • Mail Chimp email address for newsletters and press releases.

a) The Data Controller

The Data Controller is responsible for determining the purposes and methods of processing personal data.

b) Obligations of the Data Controller

The Data Controller commits to safeguarding the collected personal information, not disclosing it to third parties without your consent, and adhering to the purposes for which the information was collected.

In addition, the Data Controller will notify you of any rectification or deletion of personal information unless such action would require excessive formalities, costs, or procedures.

In the event of a compromise to the integrity, confidentiality, or security of your personal information, the Data Controller will inform you through any available means.

We destroy personal information by emptying the recycle bin on computers and shredding paper documents.

We anonymize personal information in our software, emails, and MailChimp.

Olivier D. Landreville provided training to Carole Fauteux through the ROPPHL. Awareness meetings on personal data protection were conducted with Marie-Josée Gervais, Mathieu Fauteux, and the Fibromyalgia Laval Bill 25 Committee.

The personal information we collect is stored in a secure environment. Our employees are required to uphold the confidentiality of your information.

  • Password protection on Xaequo and workstations

We are committed to maintaining a high level of confidentiality by integrating the latest technology to safeguard the privacy of your transactions. However, as no mechanism can guarantee maximum security, there is always an element of risk when transmitting personal data over the Internet.

b) CONDITIONS FOR MODIFYING THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy to ensure its compliance with applicable laws. Therefore, we encourage you to review this Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed of any updates.
