NeuroBalance

This is a group program designed to improve balance and prevent falls. Through adapted exercises, participants work on posture, proprioception, coordination, mobility, and muscle strengthening. The program aims to promote more stable, safe, and confident movement, particularly when walking, transferring, and in various everyday situations.

What you will work on:

  • Improving balance and stability, both standing and moving;
  • Developing coordination and movement control;
  • Strengthening the muscles that contribute to maintaining balance;
  • Learning to react better to obstacles and disturbances;
  • Increasing confidence while moving;
  • Discovering strategies to prevent falls in everyday life.

Process

The program includes one 55-minute session per week. The exercises progress gradually, from posture and mobility to coordination, strengthening, and balance in motion. Situations inspired by everyday life are also incorporated. The exercises and their level of difficulty are adapted to each participant’s abilities and progress.

Prerequisites

Being able to stand for one minute, with or without support.

Material
